We are letters, text is with us

“We are Russians, God is with us” is the famous phrase of a Russian Empire general Alexander Suvorov. The artist modified this phrase and put it on the wall of the scientific library of Tomsk State University. Russian culture is very text-centric, text is the main medium for Russian people. The work refers to this special role of the text in Russian culture and to the general intention for something bigger than we are.
